Transfer a Domain to DOMAINScanada.ca
It's free to transfer a domain to DOMAINScanada.ca however there is a minimum 1 year renewal required at the time of the domain transfer.
The transfer amount in our pricing schedule is the same price as a renewal for the same period, this is because there are no additional costs for the transfer portion. The extra renewal period you purchase at the time of your domain transfer will be added to your existing registration period from your last registrar. For example, if you have 4 years remaining, and you transfer to us with a 1 year renewal, you will have 5 years remaining on your registration period. View our Domain pricing page for prices.

If you do not already have an account set up with us, start by creating a new account on our site by clicking the register link on the top right of right of our site, and complete the form as required.
Once you are logged into your account, select Transfer Domains to Us drop down menu option from the Domains heading in the red menu bar as illustrated below:
After selecting the Transfer Domains to Us option you will be presented with the following screen where you can enter the domain name you wish to transfer.
Enter your domain and select the check availability button, and then you will have the option of choosing how many years you would like to add to your existing registration period with the transfer request. Select the number of years and add to cart.
After the domain has been added to the cart you will be directed to the screen below. On this screen we will require your EPP Code and name server information. You will need to get your EPP code from your existing registrar for you domain. Enter your own name server information on this page, or leave our default name servers if you wish to use our name servers.
If you wish to add hosting for this domain, click the link to add hosting.
After completing the above information select the update cart button and you will be presented with your order summary as shown below:
Select the Checkout button to complete your order, and our automated system will process your order.
Some TLD’s require manual forms to be submitted to us. If the TLD you’re transferring requires manual forms we will contact you to complete the transfer process.
