There is no cost to transfer your domain to DOMAINScanada.ca, however in order to transfer your domain, you must also purchase a 1-10 year registration at the time of the domain transfer.
When you renew or transfer a domain, the pricing is the same as a new domain registration in the table above, however you will be extending your current registration period from the existing expiration date rather than the day you purchase the renewal or transfer. Renewing your domain early does not reduce the term of your registration.
For example, If you have an existing domain registration that expires in 2 years, and you decide to transfer the registration to DOMAINScanada.ca, you will pay the pricing that corresponds to the 1-10 year term you purchase with the transfer, and the term you buy will be added to your existing term. In this example if you purchased an additional 1 year registration with your transfer, then your domain would now expire in 3 years.

Renew or transfer a domain to DOMAINScanada.ca
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Paypal, Cheques and money orders.
Cheques and money orders can be made payable to DOMAINScanada.ca Inc. please refer to the Contact Us section for our mailing address. Registrations will be submitted upon receipt of payment. Please make reference to the domain name(s) on the front of the cheque and select the offline payment method when placing your order.
Please note that when paying by an offline payment method, your domain could be registered by someone else during the time we wait for payment. We highly recommend payment with a credit card or Paypal.
Terms accounts are also available for customers with high volume requirements. Please contact our accounting department to set up your account.
We do not bundle products (example: domain registration and hosting) and for this reason our prices are easy to understand. Our domain prices are a la carte: buy a domain alone or with another product and the cost to register a domain are the same. If you cancel one product there is no penalty for doing so.
This is refreshing for anyone who has navigated this space or had problems in the past with bundled prices. We have made every attempt to keep our prices as simple and easy to find as possible, with no hidden fine print.
If you purchased a domain and hosting from us and wanted to cancel the hosting, this is no problem and there are no fees or penalties for doing this. What you pay up front is what you pay, you can cancel or move any service at any time, and that's because we don't bundle products to offer special prices.
